Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in management consulting, or project management from a public accounting firm or multi-national company.
- Experience managing multiple, cross-functional projects, identifying and implementing process improvements.
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced degree, MBA, or other equivalent specialized training related to Finance, such as Project / Portfolio Management (PMP, etc.) and Process Improvement (e.g., LEAN, Six Sigma, etc.).

Experience in financial analysis and modeling.
- Experience with implementing AI, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and other automation technologies within a finance context.
- Knowledge of FP&A processes, including standard finance systems (e.g., SAP, Anaplan, Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), etc.).
- Ability to influence and communicate at all organizational levels and partner with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with business judgment in a fast-paced environment.

Google’s Finance team is embarking on a multi-year transformational journey to build standard, automated, AI-enabled processes that aim to enhance our efficiency, provide deeper insights, and position finance to be an even stronger strategic partner to our growing and evolving business.
To further this goal, we are looking for a Program Manager for Finance Solutions and Transformation to help enable and deliver on critical programs that fuel the transformation of our Plan-to-Report Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) efforts, creating a Google-worthy operating model that will be the benchmark for all other companies led through the lens of AI capabilities.
Finance Solutions and Transformation is a centralized body that supports the development and enablement of transformation for our finance function. This includes transformation across the operating model of people, process, tools and data leveraging to the fullest extent the power of Google’s AI capabilities. Our organization is at the forefront of the delivery of all long term roadmaps to develop the new benchmark for how finance is performed across the globe.
In this role, you will help guide strategic decision making, solve complex problems, and provide deep problem-solving insights to support the strategic initiatives of the process. Strong relationships across functions and product areas, including executive management, is critical. You should be comfortable with ambiguity and tight deadlines, possess innovative thinking, and understand the finance process within the P2R space. You will enjoy both strategic planning and direct execution, seeking innovative solutions to finance operational challenges while balancing risk, speed, and cost.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000-$197,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to structure projects, define goals and risks, and manage the entire project lifecycle.
- Implement governance and structure for programs through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) lifecycle, coordinating finance teams from inception to close.
- Work with Finance and cross-functional teams to document workflows, identify gaps, propose improvements, and drive consensus on business requirements.
- Track progress, milestones, key issues, and change controls.
- Define and monitor key metrics to measure the business impact of process improvements.
