About the job
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It’s your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
As a Supply and Demand Program Manager in Google’s Devices and Services team, you will lead multi-disciplinary projects that define the consumer hardware experience. You will oversee the full project life-cycle from planning requirements to global fulfillment, ensuring all internal and external players are aligned across time zones. In this role, you will manage the existing supply chain and also architect the future of the ever-evolving hardware ecosystem.
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google’s various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user’s interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
Responsibilities
- Drive the planning cycle by partnering with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Finance, Product Operations, Logistics) during monthly cycles; seamlessly integrate demand signals, supply strategies, and regional allocations to achieve consensus on build plans and inventory goals.
- Orchestrate market launches for a high volume of new product introductions annually. Ensure execution and fulfillment strategies to consistently achieve and exceed customer service level goals.
- Design, implement, and refine operational frameworks and workflows in an environment where no fixed SOPs exist. Drive the evolution of the planning playbook as the business scales.
- Lead the adoption of AI, machine learning, and advanced automation tools to transform legacy planning processes, improving predictive accuracy and operational agility.
- Drive critical business outcomes including inventory health, material spend, and gross margins through data-driven decision-making.
