  • Providing individual, group support sessions and neuroaffirming strategies and recommendations to parents and staff to support the social-emotional and the mental health challenges in individuals with complex disabilities
  • Adherence and application of principles of trauma informed care model for care and support
  • Identification and referral of students to psychiatrists for mental health challenges
  • Providing parenting consultations, family, and student counselling.
  • Training school staff to implement the Centre’s Self-Advocacy and Fostering Empowerment program, thereby enhancing student well-being and empowerment.
  • Additional skills: Assessment of students’ cognitive, academic, and adaptive functioning

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in psychology.
  • DHA/CDA license Holder with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in UAE preferred
