Remote Intermediate QA Automation Engineer

Job Description

Join Employment Hero as an Intermediate QA Automation Engineer to help ensure the quality of our marketing websites. As a remote team member, you’ll work on end-to-end quality, test new features, and build clear test cases. With a focus on automation, you’ll develop lightweight automated tests and integrate them into our CI/CD pipeline.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer across manual and automation testing
• Strong experience testing web applications end to end
• Hands-on experience using automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Detox or Maestro
• Comfortable working with JavaScript or TypeScript in modern web automation frameworks
• Ability to write clear, structured test cases, regression checklists, and detailed bug reports
• Familiarity with REST API testing and validation of API behavior as part of end-to-end testing
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• High attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies and potential risks early
• Ability to think long term and look for ways to automate or streamline repetitive testing activities
