Overview

Urgent requirement for SAP Ariba MM Consultant – P2P Specialist for banking clients in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role requires at least 2–3 full-cycle SAP Ariba and/or MM implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead configuration and support for SAP Ariba Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, and Buying & Invoicing (B&I) modules.
  • Manage SAP MM configurations: enterprise structure, purchasing, inventory management, release strategies, pricing procedures, and account determination.
  • Drive requirement gathering, design workshops, and solution documentation.
  • Configure sourcing templates (RFI, RFP, Auctions), contract workspaces, and supplier lifecycle processes (request, registration, qualification).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Ariba with SAP ECC/MM and support cutover planning, UAT, and hypercare.
  • Support procurement process improvements and compliance in industries such as pharma, manufacturing, and healthcare.
  • Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, training materials, and ensure smooth knowledge transfer.
  • Lead or participate in SIT, UAT, and go-live activities with a focus on quality and timelines.
  • Ensure issue resolution, SLA compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in SAP Ariba (Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, Buying & Invoicing) with template configuration expertise.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP MM across PR/PO, GR/IR, inventory, release strategies, and special procurement (Subcontracting, STO, Consignment).
  • In-depth understanding of end-to-end P2P processes in both Ariba and ECC.
  • Proven experience in Ariba implementation projects, including upstream/downstream configuration and integration.
  • Proficiency in preparing functional specs, test cases, training documents, and conducting UAT/SIT.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, using tools like JIRA, SolMan, and QTest.
