Overseeing and enhancing SAP landscape while ensuring compliance and security across the systems. This role integrates expertise in SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) with SAP Basis administration.
Duties & Responsibilities
Operational Roles

  • Administer user accounts, roles, and authorizations within SAP systems.
  • Hands on experience as SAP IAM admin for Access Requests (ARQ), Access Risk Analysis (ARA), Business Role Management (BRM), Emergency Access Management (EAM).
  • Conduct regular audits of user access rights and permissions to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement access control policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define role-based access controls (RBAC).
  • Ensure adherence to security protocols and best practices in access management.
  • Assist in the preparation for audits and assessments related to SAP access control.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for access-related inquiries and issues.
  • Document and maintain records of access requests and changes.
  • Work closely with IT and other departments to streamline access management processes.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects related to system upgrades and access management enhancements.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of SAP landscapes.
  • Support system upgrades, patches, and migrations.
  • Document processes, procedures, and system configurations.
  • Hands on experience in installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to resolve issues impacting system performance or user experience.
  • Prepare reports on system performance, availability, and incident resolutions.

Minimum
Work Experience

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • Strong understanding of SAP architecture, security concepts, and compliance frameworks.

Preferred

  • At least 5 years’ experience of working on SAP IAM/GRC Admin.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in SAP Basis
  • Experience of working in Gulf region
