Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in a technical sales engineering role in security or cloud native environments.
- Experience in cybersecurity (e.g., network security, SoC platform, threat detection, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, or identity and access management systems).
- Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Certification in Cloud or Security industry.
- Experience developing programs/scripts in Python, Java, C++.
- Experience in architecture and developing software for scalable, distributed systems.
- Experience in the technology industry or working in a specialist area of technology.
- Knowledge of public cloud platforms and technical concepts such as Security, AI, PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, and related industry topics.
- Ability to lead architecture discussions and influence key decision makers around deployment topologies, scaling, performance and sizing.

As a Customer Engineer, you will help grow our cyber-security business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers. You will be a trusted advisor to customers and an advocate for our security solutions. You will provide support to c-level, security leaders, cloud security architects and security analysts, using both technical and business skill sets to lead projects forward. You will accompany customers in discovering the technology/solution and consult around the best way to secure and ensure compliance. You will optimize for results when in production, leading with empathy, while identifying innovative ways to multiply the impact of the team.

Responsibilities
- Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Work directly with customers to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments.
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to complete solutions using best practices on Google Cloud.
- Share security experience to support the technical relationship with customers, including product and solution briefings and proof-of-concept work, partnering with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer engagement with Google Cloud.
- Support customer-facing presentations and conduct workshops to share the experience and be a subject matter expert on cyber security.
