Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Senior Civil Engineer – Site you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing large-scale construction projects ensuring their successful completion while adhering to quality standards safety regulations and project timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise civil engineering projects from conception to completion ensuring adherence to specifications budgets and schedules
  • Develop and review detailed engineering designs drawings and specifications for construction projects
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with project requirements and local regulations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects contractors and other stakeholders
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers and technical staff
  • Prepare and present technical reports project updates and recommendations to senior management and clients
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols on construction sites
  • Identify and resolve complex engineering challenges throughout the project lifecycle
  • Stay updated on industry trends innovative technologies and sustainable construction practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering; Masters degree preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on site supervision
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects
  • Advanced knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • In-depth knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
  • Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and LEED certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel as required
