Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in quota-carrying software sales and account management at an enterprise business-to-business software company promoting enterprise accounts.
  • Experience engaging with accounts in promoting a portfolio of products at C-level.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently as this role requires interactions in Japanese with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with and managing partners in implementation of projects.
  • Experience with large, commercial and legal negotiations working with procurement, legal, and business teams.
  • Knowledge of prospects and customers.
  • Ability to drive decision-making at the executive level.
  • Ability to collaborate with sales engineers and customer technical leads to assess existing software estates, define migration plans, and build business cases.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently at business level as this role requires interactions in English with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Establish executive relationships with strategic customers to influence long-term technology and business strategies. Serve as a trusted advisor by delivering impactful insights and ideas with consistent execution.
  • Manage the full business cycle, including presenting multi-year agreements to CEOs and C-level executives, negotiate terms, and evaluate associated legal and business risks.
  • Drive business engagements with Chief Executive Officers and boards of strategic clients, focus on transformational goals and differentiate Google solutions to accelerate digital transformation.
  • Lead the strategic account, and ensure effective solution delivery. 
  • Identify and engage proactively with new accounts in designated territories or aimed markets, demonstrate a deep understanding of their potential needs and business issues.
