Role Purpose:

Responsible for the allocation, movement & supervision of plant, equipment, material, labor & operatives. Reviewing quality of work and progress required, ensuring safe working conditions, ensuring materials are available to avoid delay to the project and monitored and stored correctly. Key responsibility is productivity from labor/operatives/trades.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  1. Routine Jobs (logistics, transport, welfare, Friday programme’s)
  2. Record keeping & Reporting daily Activity Programme/Day worksheet
  3. Recording & reporting daily output
  4. Inspection requests
  5. Should be able to understand interface with specialist SC’s site activities & calibration
  6. Advise on suitability of Material (specialized knowledge)
  7. Movement & Allocation of Material
  8. Allocation of Plant, Material & labor as per Tender Gang sizes – optimal utilization
  9. Distribution of work between labor to optimize output
  10. Assist in forecasting requirement of Labor, Material & Plant/Machinery Productivity
  11. Ensuring daily productivity has been met as per forecast within allowable
  12. Timely Results
  13. Subordinate identification & Development
  14. Key link to Worker/Laborers for delegating work and getting output
  15. Supervising Emergency shutdown works
  16. Ensure labor involved in critical operations-lifting, scaffolding etc are well trained and experienced
  17. Be aware of the content of TBT’s, monitor and correct them where required
  18. Quality: Output should be as per required predefined (ISO) quality standards
  19. Safety: Ensuring all activities, labor and operatives are following safe working practices

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Diploma in Civil Engineering
5 to 7 years of experience. Experience in Villa Finishes is essential.
Should be Influencing, Negotiating & Customer Focused
Expert in Planning, Organizing, Scheduling & Coordinating
Should be good in Decision Making, Problem Solving & Time Management
Fluent in English – written, oral & presentation.
