We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Middleware Developer – Integration to design, develop, and manage robust API and middleware solutions that enable secure, scalable, and reliable data exchange across enterprise applications and third-party systems. The candidate will play a crucial role in integrating SAP systems with internal and external applications , ensuring seamless connectivity across the organization’s digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop middleware solutions to integrate SAP with internal and external systems.

  • Build, document, and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs to support integration requirements.

  • Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to analyze backend processes and design API services.

  • Manage data mapping, transformation, and orchestration between diverse systems.

  • Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data validation protocols .

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues while ensuring business continuity.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational integration and security standards .

  • Support testing, deployment, and maintenance of middleware components.

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all integration solutions.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in middleware and API development.

  • Proven expertise in SAP integration projects .

  • Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP API design and development .

  • Hands-on experience with middleware tools such as SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, MuleSoft, Apache Camel, or similar .

  • Familiarity with data formats (JSON, XML) and integration protocols (HTTPS, OData, IDoc, etc.).

  • Knowledge of API gateways, authentication protocols (OAuth2.0, JWT), and message queues .

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with SAP BTP or SAP S/4HANA integration .

  • Exposure to cloud-based middleware solutions and microservices architectures .

  • Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines , and API lifecycle management.

Soft Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple integration projects simultaneously.

  • High attention to detail with a commitment to quality .

Work Environment

This is an on-site role in the UAE , within a fast-paced digital transformation environment . The selected candidate will work on mission-critical integration projects , collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and future-ready integration solutions .
