Summary

We are seeking a SENIOR MOBILE ENGINEER in Dubai to implement features, refactor code, and support junior developers with iOS expertise. The ideal candidate will have 3-9 years of experience. Salary: 45 Lac to 1 Crore P.A.

Description

You will be working within our mobile development team to grow our product and tailor it based on our customers’ needs and the industry’s best practices. As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will be tasked with implementing new features and refactoring parts of our codebase, ensuring a high standard of quality and robustness using the right design patterns and tools to provide robust, testable code.

Responsibilities

  1. Implement solutions that meet high standards and require minimal refactoring.
  2. Write robust and quality-oriented testable code.
  3. Help define the direction of our app based on experience and usability patterns, suggesting changes and additions where needed.
  4. Meet deadlines in coordination with the Product Management team.
  5. Assist with the development of junior team members, ensuring alignment with company standards.
  6. Conduct market research and stay updated with the latest mobile processes and technologies.

Key Performance Indicators

  1. Quality standards and best practices used within your code.
  2. Efficiency and timeliness of problem resolution and solution development.
  3. Timeliness and robustness of software releases.
  4. Degree of uptime and technical performance rate of the company’s native services.
  5. Feedback from peers.

Desired Candidate Profile

Competencies/Skills Required:

  1. Extensive experience in Native iOS mobile development.
  2. 7+ years of iOS development experience, including 4+ years of Swift programming experience.
  3. Good knowledge of XCTest Framework and Mobile CI/CD.
  4. Good knowledge of design patterns and software architectures.
  5. Experience with performance/memory optimization using Apple Instruments tool.
  6. Deep knowledge of OOP.
  7. Results-oriented with a devotion to teamwork.
  8. Accountability and ownership.
  9. Knowledge of server architecture, networking, and HTTP protocol.
  10. Familiarity with version control systems, mainly Git.
  11. Passionate about open source and ideally contributing to it.

Salary: 45 Lac to 1 Crore P.A.
