Brief Job Description

Senior Project Engineer :

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will assume commercial and program control of key projects, involving liaison with customers, sub-contractors and other business units to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • ToexecuteeachassignedProject100%inaccordancewithTender,Specification,Clientdeliverydates,drawing approvals.
  • TofullymaintaintheProjectMarginandclaimforanyprojectvariationasrequired.
  • Communicateeffectively withthecustomer andmaintainhighcustomer satisfactionlevel.
  • CompleteeachProjectonorabovetendermargin.
  • ObtainPurchaseorder&ApproximateDeliverydates.
  • Review latesttotalcostsheet / Quotations,specifications&Drawings.
  • Adviceany(discrepancy)differencestosalesEngineertoCoordinate.
  • Introduceyourselftoclient,sendletterofintroduction.Requestallrelevantinformation.
  • HandovertheinputsfromclienttoCADDManagerforinitialdrawing / revisionandfinalasbuiltdrawing.
  • AdheretoH&Sguidelinesandpolicyofthecompanywhileinthefactoryandatthesite.
  • Printwhatisnecessaryandreducetheusageofpaper.ReviewinitialDesignDrawingsreceivedfromCADDTeam.
  • Getdrawingapproval.
  • Costanychangeandvariation&Variationapproval.
  • ReceivevariationordersbeforeProductionstarts.
  • MaterialProcurement&ProductionInformationtoProductionDepartment.
  • ConfirmDelivery dateswithclients.
  • ReleaseforManufacturing.
  • Followupprojectduringproduction.
  • Coordinatedeliverywithproduction.
  • Arrangeshipping,dopackinglistforshipping,completeinvoiceforclient.
  • Followthrough installationwithclientsanddositemeasurement&attendsiteifnecessary.
  • ReleasesitemeasurementformanufactureandreviewthedrawingsasbuiltprovidedbyCADDTeam.

  • Customersatisfaction

Qualification

Graduate in Electrical Engineering Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience

Competence

Technically strong in Electrical concepts.Excellentin English (oral and written)
