QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

• 5+ years’ experience in Operational Risk within a Middle Office.
• Strong business English language writing skills.
• Proficient in Excel and mathematical skills.
• Experience in building and using models.
• Well informed of global product demand and supply, market dynamics.
• Industry knowledge including supply/demand fundamentals of physical markets, product grades, quality specifications, refining systems, transportation, pipeline infrastructure, and products carried.
• Understanding of competitors, marine operations, third-party system parameters, and standard contractual terms.
• Knowledge of the global energy business, refinery economics, and drivers.
• Understanding the value of variations in specification, timing, and volume.
• Commodities trading knowledge, including trading strategies, fundamentals, markets, arbitrage, and geopolitical influences.
• Financial knowledge of derivatives, futures, options, OTC swaps, credit instruments, and economic evaluations like NPV and value creation.

Requirement

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or Finance – 2.1 or above.
