Responsibilities

  • Study, analyze, advise and participate in the design and development of the company succession planning program, its processes and procedures aligned to the Talent Management system to support development of a roadmap for the future.
  • Identify critical roles and potential candidates; coordinate with divisions to identify key roles and successors; assess skills and experience required for critical positions and highlight risks when no suitable candidate is available.
  • Monitor progress of the succession program, report effectiveness, and provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Advise and respond to queries from line management and employees on succession planning policies, procedures and guidelines to facilitate effective implementation.
  • Liaise with Human Capital to align succession plans with other initiatives like retention and sourcing strategies.
  • Plan, supervise and coordinate activities in the assigned area to meet objectives; train and develop staff to enable proficiency on the job.
  • Provide input for section/department budgets, assist in budget implementation, and highlight significant variances for cost control.
  • Contribute to achieving the approved performance objectives for the section/department within the company framework.
  • Design and implement tools to improve the quality and efficiency of processes; identify improvements against best practices and ISO standards for intelligent solutions.
  • Provide inputs to prepare section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, HR Management or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 8 years of experience in human resource development.
  • At least 5 years in a similar position with experience in Human Capital, talent development, and talent management; experience in oil & gas is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Preferred certifications in HR (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, SPHR, ICF).
