What we look for in you:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in UI/UX design.
• Proven track record as an individual contributor product designer responsible for value and usability of solutions.
• Online portfolio of UI/UX design work which showcases your process and solutions and not just the finished product.
• Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX design, computer science, human computer interaction, or related fields.
• Product Knowledge: Strong desire and passion to learn about the blockchain/cryptocurrency industry and the problems faced by users.
• Design Principles Knowledge: Demonstrated solid understanding of design principles (typography, composition, hierarchy, proportion, patterning, color theory, etc.), knowledge of UX research methods, usability testing, prototyping, knowledge of visual design, user-centered experience design, interaction design and creative process.
• Proven experience designing for cross-platform experiences (iOS, Android, Web interface).
• You have experience with implementing UI kits and design systems.
• Design Tools: Expert and proven proficiency with modern interface design tools (We use Figma at CoinGecko).
• Able to create detailed interactive prototypes demonstrating flows, interactions, and animations.
• User-focused: Analytical and can articulate design decisions very well. Worked with qualitative and quantitative usability measurement methodologies.
• People Skills: Excellent communicator who is able to build working relationships within the team and externally with customers.
• You love talking to users and stakeholders in order to understand their needs and gather requirements.
• Leadership: Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Has a strong sense of self-leadership, curious creative on finding ways to improve existing projects workflows.
• Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative. You have a passion to solve a problem faced by stakeholders together with strong user empathy.
• Breadth: Love delving into new technologies and ways of doing things.
• Software Development Knowledge: Familiarity and ability to write front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, as well as frameworks such as Tailwind or Bootstrap is a plus.
• You have keen interest in cryptocurrency, NFT, web3, and metaverse topics.

What you’ll be doing:

• Product Design: Drive product design through collaboration with other product designers, engineers, and product managers to implement innovative product solutions, visuals, and experience that are usable and valuable.
• Develop and execute UI/UX design solutions that solve user and business problems and take them to market.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Strategy: Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product and executive teams.
• Leadership: Lead projects by defining milestones and delivering well-scope projects to create business outcomes.
• Collaboration: Communicate design proposals and key milestones to the stakeholders and engineering team.
• Collaborate and leverage input from product stakeholders to determine the right solutions in order to deliver value.
• Research: Conduct user research, user interviews, and usability tests in order to contribute to the product team knowledge of our users.
• Validate product’s functionality and evaluate the design effectiveness based on data analysis and qualitative feedback.
• Design System: Maintain and build upon our design system, ensuring the work that you and the wider team are delivering aligns to the platform and development practices.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.
• Analytics: Conduct data-driven decision making through experimentation, measurement, and analysis.
• Reporting: Monitor users reactions and measure metrics after launching new features, and being able to contribute to the process improvement of the reports.
• Documentation: Create design guidelines, standards, and templates from scratch, and not just building upon existing documentation.
• Plugged-in: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging design practices.
• Coaching: Able to mentor interns as well as junior-mid designers. Provide material feedback on the work of junior and mid-level designers. Participate in knowledge sharing activities.
• You are required to support any ad hoc tasks as required by the company.
