The Senior Vice President of Patient Financial Engagement & Collections is a Consumer-Facing role that is accountable for all front-end patient engagement strategies and execution, spanning Bad Debt, Early Out, Reconciliation, and Medicaid Enrollment. This leader drives performance, compliance, and innovation across all patient-facing verticals while ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory requirements. The VP must bring expertise in collections, customer service, and Medicaid enrollment workflows to successfully lead diverse operational teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership over Bad Debt, Early Out, Medicaid Enrollment, and Reconciliation divisions.
  • Deliver on KPIs including recovery rates, contact strategy performance, quality audits, compliance, and patient experience scores.
  • Oversee Medicaid Enrollment operations across multiple states, ensuring compliance with regulatory processes, application accuracy, documentation protocols, and state/federal guidelines.
  • Champion cross-departmental alignment and integration of consumer-facing strategies, especially in cases of overlap between Medicaid eligibility and collections.
  • Collaborate with client services and internal analytics teams to develop performance dashboards, optimize segmentation, and enhance productivity.
  • Standardize training, QA, and escalation processes across all teams; drive high performance and accountability through data-driven management.
  • Partner with Technology, Compliance, and AI teams to support innovation in enrollment assistance, patient outreach (e.g., bots, SMS), and productivity tracking.
  • Provide operational oversight of any nearshore/offshore vendors supporting consumer-facing activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in healthcare RCM, with specific experience managing Medicaid Enrollment, Bad Debt, and Early Out operations.
  • Revenue Cycle Management Company Experience REQUIRED.
  • Proven success in leading large-scale consumer contact centers and enrollment operations.
  • Deep knowledge of Medicaid eligibility criteria, state enrollment systems, and payer communication best practices.
  • Experience with RCM technology platforms such as Latitude, EOS, LiveVox, and Intelitech; experience implementing productivity and QA tracking systems.
  • Strong people leader with experience developing frontline supervisors and mid-level leaders into high-performing teams.
  • Ability to manage operations across geographic regions and vendor relationships, including nearshore/offshore partners.
