  • Experience in C++ development through coursework, internships, or professional work.
  • Knowledge of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, communication and collaboration skills with passion to learn.

The Google Home team focuses on hardware, software and services offerings for the home, ranging from thermostats to smart displays. The Home team researches, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make users’ homes more helpful. Our mission is the helpful home: to create a home that cares for the people inside it and the world around it.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement ML infrastructure and pipelines for Google Home on-device model execution, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Provide ML solutions for multitude of first-party and third-party devices in the Google Home ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with partner teams across organizations.
  • Ensure the Google Home on-device ML experience is excellent by analyzing issues and improving feature performance.
