Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in C/C++ or Python, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience with embedded system development, Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), and microcontrollers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug embedded software/hardware issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to learn.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world’s most helpful mobile experience. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement core software platform for embedded development on modems, maximizing leverage and scalability across products.
- Innovate, design, implement, and test new antenna software features for modem systems, and factory systems.
- Implement and tune algorithms for optimizing performance, including creating system and developer tools.
- Build automated regression test systems to validate features and measure system performance.
- Work with other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and meet compliance/conformance metrics.
