Qualifications

• Broad experience in cards/merchant/wallet payment solutions




• Expertise in building solutions with microservices, event-driven architecture and cloud-native principles




• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud services




• Hands-on on Authorization, Clearing and Settlement Systems, Merchant Onboarding, Payout application, Cardholder (Issuing) Processing. Acquiring and Payments




• Card payments: Understanding of issuers, acquirers, and card schemes, interchange, cardholder authentication




• Understanding of payments switching, routing, use of cryptography, PIN operations, contact, and contactless protocols




• Emerging payment technologies: Understanding of Open Banking, new payment rails, digital payments, wallets, smart Point of Sale and ATMs, real-time cross border, blockchain-enabled crypto payments, central bank digital currencies, data in payments and financial crime developments




• Knowledge of Fintech niches offerings in the payments value chain




• Broad experience with technical modeling and documentation (Data Flow, Diagrams, Network Diagrams, Software Architecture Documents, etc.)




• Experience with PCI DSS and/or other corresponding payment security protocols




• Ability to communicate about solutions and possible challenges at a conceptual and technical level in English, and preferably Arabic




• Industry Certifications like CISSP, Open CA, TOGAF, Cloud Certification etc., are preferred
