Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
- Ability to communicate in Korean and English fluently to support client relationship management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in mobile advertising, ad monetization, Mobile app and gaming publishing, mobile app services and ad sales.
- Experience in gaming industry, partnerships, sales, account management, or strategy/business development.
- Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
- Excellent investigative skills and data-driven thought process with the ability to analyze business metrics and infer their impact on business growth.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google’s newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
As a Strategic Partnerships Development Manager for the Sellside Monetization team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of publisher’s business in the digital ecosystem. You will manage the Gaming and Non-gaming mobile app partners to foster the growth of the partner’s business.
You lead and work in collaboration with partnership teams in the strategic direction for partner accounts, drive growth opportunities, and align internal stakeholders to execute on account priorities. You will build relationships with the executives and operational leads.
You will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives by collaborating with internal teams like Google Play, Cloud, Product, and Engineering. You will be a key advocate for the Korean market, influencing stakeholders to build and deliver projects that support our partners and drive the growth for the Korean Digital Ecosystem.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google’s partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of a partner’s business, priorities, and challenges, create and drive executive partner engagement strategy to develop relationships with executives internally and externally.
- Build and maintain relationships with C-levels and key decision-makers at partner organizations, helping them grow their business growth with Google monetization products.
- Improve partner growth by identifying new improvement areas and exploring new opportunities through innovation.
- Understand the challenges of each partner and architect creative, optimal solutions using Google’s suite of monetization products to help them achieve their business goals.
- Lead complex, ecosystem-wide projects by collaborating with internal teams like Google Play, Cloud, Google Ads, Product, and Engineering to deliver holistic value to the publisher community.
