Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree.
  • Experience leading large, complex projects and delivering end-to-end outcomes.
  • Ability to identify and assess strategic opportunities, with an understanding of their potential impact on business growth.
  • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and design creative solutions to complex challenges.

The Business Strategy and Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

Team HEAT works closely with partnerships, product, and other cross-functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for a portfolio of products, including Google TV, Android Automotive, Nest, Fitbit, Pixel, Chrome, ChromeOS, Workspace, and more. We work side-by-side with our Partnerships stakeholders to deliver business growth, unlock new product experiences, and ultimately bring the best of Google into consumers’ hands and homes. We are a tight-knit team of business strategy thinkers and work tirelessly to be a thought-partner to our various set of business and product stakeholders.

In this role, you will play a key role in shaping the commercial and go-to-market strategy for innovative products like Smart Home, Personal Health, Pixel, Fi, and gStore. As a strategic thinker with a generalist focus, you will collaborate with Partnerships teams on partner pipeline processes, agreement modeling, negotiation strategies, and new business opportunities, and drive execution through annual planning,
Objectives and Key Results (OKR) tracking, and ongoing performance reporting.The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google’s partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $153,000-$222,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead large, cross-functional initiatives with significant business impact, managing multiple work streams and stakeholders across different departments.
  • Identify emerging opportunities proactively and assess their potential impact on business growth. Provide data-driven insights on options, risks, and upsides to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and implement creative solutions to complex business challenges, demonstrating strong judgment in ambiguous situations. Proactively address systemic issues to optimize processes and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with executive leaders across the organization, building consensus and driving alignment on strategic decisions. Act as a subject matter expert, offering guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
  • Leverage data analysis and synthesis to identify actionable insights that drive business growth. Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders to inform strategic planning and execution.
