Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or an advanced degree.
  • Experience leading large, complex projects and delivering end-to-end outcomes.
  • Ability to proactively identify and assess strategic opportunities, with a strong understanding of their potential impact on business growth.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to navigate ambiguity and design creative solutions to complex challenges.

The Partnerships Solutions team is a dynamic and integral part of the Global Partnerships organization, acting as “playmakers” who drive value by orchestrating transformational partnerships across Google. We are at the forefront of Google’s most critical initiatives, with a strong focus on advancing the company’s AI journey, delivering commercial impact, and promoting sustainable ecosystems.

This team supports strategy and operations for partnerships across GenAI within Google Deep Mind (GDM) and Gemini product areas. The Strategy and Operations Lead for Data for Gemini will be responsible for creating strategies that effectively secure critical third-party data to power GDM’s foundational AI models along with designing and executing processes for lifecycle management.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google’s partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Formulate data acquisition strategies by deeply understanding complex GDM needs and translating them into actionable sourcing strategies and partnership opportunities for third-party data for Gemini.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business development leadership, communicating, structuring, and problem-solving complex and ambiguous business challenges and supporting organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate with various cross-functional partners including product, research, marketing, finance, legal, and business development to ensure strategies are effective, and value driven (right partners, right price).
  • Design and execute operations to manage the lifecycle from efficient triaging of partnership requests and pipeline management to agreement facilitation, data delivery, and partner management.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the AI landscape, key players, and emerging trends relevant to the vertical.
