Job Description of Structural Designer / Senior Designer

We are seeking a highly experienced Structural Designer / Senior Designer to join our client’s dynamic engineering team in Abu Dhabi. This role plays a pivotal part in the structural planning, analysis, and design of various engineering projects. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of design principles, material behavior, and industry standards to contribute to the successful execution of complex structures.

Key Responsibilities of Structural Designer / Senior Designer

Produce detailed civil/structural drawings for oil & gas infrastructure
Create technical designs using TEKLA, E3D, AutoCAD
Support engineers across all project stages – from concept to delivery
Ensure design compliance with project codes and safety standards
Conduct site visits, incorporate feedback, and update documentation

Qualification Required for Structural Designer / Senior Designer

BSc. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
10–15 years of experience in civil/structural drafting in Oil & Gas projects
Strong command of CAD, TEKLA, E3D and drawing standards
Knowledge of industry codes and onshore project regulations
Fluent in English
