Studio Experience & Community Curator

This role exists to bring our Design Studio and ATÖLYE Dubai to life. You will ensure our space feels vibrant, our community feels connected, and our design work is visible across the UAE and MENA creative landscape. Working alongside the Studio, Engagement, and Communications & Impact teams, you’ll focus on activating experiences, building relationships, and amplifying ATÖLYE’s presence locally and regionally.

Main Responsibilities

• Curate and produce high-touch experiences inside ATÖLYE Dubai (events, rituals, exhibitions, lunches, guest sessions) in line with our Go-To-Market strategies.
• Animate the space with intention, ensuring it remains a welcoming, inspiring place for creatives, clients, and collaborators.
• Work together with the communications, design and architecture teams to ensure spatial activations reflect our ethos and spatial design language.

Community Engagement

• Act as host and connector — welcoming newcomers, nurturing relationships, and building a sense of belonging.
• Grow our creative ecosystem and collaborators through outreach and partnerships across design, culture, education, and civic sectors.
• Co-create programs with community members and residents to bring their voices into the spotlight.
• Help develop and manage revenue-generating collaborations, influencer partnerships, and ticketed or sponsored events.

Marketing & Visibility

• Work under the guidance of the Communications & Impact team to adapt and disseminate content (social, newsletters, reels, photo essays, features) showcasing studio life and impact.
• Contribute to ATÖLYE’s visibility by capturing and sharing studio life, local stories, and ecosystem opportunities, and ensuring the Dubai hub reflects our creativity and values.
• Be an active connector in the UAE/MENA creative landscape, attending events and engaging with networks to share and amplify ATÖLYE’s work.

Requirements:

• A warm, people-first connector with experience in creative communities.
• Comfortable in the rhythms of a design or innovation studio.
• Strong sense of how a studio can come alive through space, brand, and cultural connection.
• Equal parts thoughtful host, cultural producer, and comms strategist.
• Experienced in the UAE and broader MENA creative and cultural landscape
• Skilled in marketing development and content strategy.
• A natural storyteller who thinks in moments, not just messages.
• Deeply familiar with the design industry and its ecosystem of practitioners, platforms, and partners.
• Arabic speaking is a plus.
