We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Swimming Pool Engineer to take a lead role in the structural, hydraulic, and mechanical design of our swimming pool projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, creative problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of pool construction methodologies. You will be responsible for transforming conceptual designs into safe, efficient, and buildable engineered plans, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design & Engineering: Perform structural engineering calculations and design for reinforced concrete shells and supporting foundations.
  • Design and engineer complex hydraulic systems, including piping schematics, pump and filter sizing, and water circulation systems for efficiency and clarity.
  • Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and plans using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
  • Project Management & Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, landscape designers, and clients from concept through completion.
  • Provide technical support and clarification to the construction and installation teams on-site.
  • Review and approve submittals from contractors and suppliers.
  • Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience 4+ years in swimming pool design, hydraulic engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design CAD software; AutoCAD is essential. Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp) is a strong plus.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic principles, fluid dynamics, and pump system design.
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes specific to aquatic facilities.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
