ELE Design Services is looking for an experienced Technical Design Manager to lead our Technical Design Department and drive the delivery of technically robust, execution-ready designs for high-end, globally recognised projects.

This is a senior, hands‑on role overseeing the full technical design lifecycle—from project kick‑off through execution—working closely with designers, studio leadership, contractors, consultants, and clients.

Job Description

• Lead and manage the technical design process across multiple high‑end projects
• Review and approve technical drawings, shop drawings, and joinery details
• Ensure all designs are technically accurate, feasible, and compliant with UAE regulations
• Identify and resolve technical risks related to feasibility, budget, approvals, and timelines
• Manage tender documentation, BOQ reviews, RFIs, and contractor coordination
• Attend site meetings, conduct site inspections, and resolve on‑site technical challenges
• Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Technical Design team

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical design management (fit‑out, architecture, or interior projects)
• Background in high‑end residential, hospitality, commercial, or large‑scale projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and UAE building regulations
• High proficiency in AutoCAD and project coordination tools
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Highly organised, detail‑driven, and comfortable working under pressure
• Valid UAE driving license and access to a personal vehicle
• Monthly petrol allowance
• Ability to attend regular site visits and client meetings
