With a strong growth trajectory, Oue client is seeking a driven individual to join the team in a pivotal commercial and technical role .

Role Overview

The Technical Sales Manager will drive revenue growth through strategic sales, technical advisory, and customer relationship management. This role requires a blend of commercial acumen and technical expertise in adhesives, coatings, and sealants . The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in a similar technical‑commercial role within the industry, preferably working directly with adhesives, coatings, and sealants manufacturer , bringing value and insights to the business.

This position suits a proactive, results‑oriented professional with an entrepreneurial mindset , motivated to contribute to both top‑line growth and bottom‑line profitability through performance‑based incentives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, and end‑users.
  • Provide technical guidance and consultancy to clients regarding products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with production, R&D, and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Lead pricing, negotiation, and contract discussions to maximize profitability.
  • Report on sales performance, pipeline, and forecast, with actionable recommendations.
  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset to explore new business opportunities and optimize margins.

Must‑Have Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 8‑12+ years of experience in a technical‑commercial role within adhesives, coatings, sealants, or a closely related industry.
  • Proven track record of working with manufacturers and delivering measurable commercial impact.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and strategic sales skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building capabilities.
  • Self‑driven, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently to achieve business outcomes.
