Responsibilities

• Assemble and install tower cranes on construction sites according to project specifications and engineering drawings.
• Dismantle tower cranes safely and efficiently upon project completion.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on cranes to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and other construction personnel to coordinate crane operations.
• Ensure all lifting and rigging equipment is in good condition and used properly.
• Follow strict safety protocols and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to site‑specific safety plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to crane assembly, operation, or dismantling.
• Maintain accurate records of crane assembly, inspection, and maintenance activities.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient crane operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tower crane erection and dismantling.
• Strong knowledge of crane mechanics, rigging techniques, and safety procedures.
• Valid certifications for crane operation, rigging, and safety (e.g. OSHA) are required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong physical fitness and the ability to work at heights.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and under tight deadlines.
