Job Summary:
We are seeking a driven and dynamic Outdoor Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in the sales of Power and Cooling products and services . This role involves working in the field, identifying new business opportunities, and building relationships with potential clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong technical understanding of power and cooling solutions, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Development & Prospecting:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Conduct cold calls, in-person visits, and presentations to potential clients across various industries (e.g., IT, telecommunications, data centers, industrial).
- Build and maintain a pipeline of leads, ensuring consistent follow-up and closing of sales.
- Product Knowledge & Solution Selling:
- Understand the technical aspects of power and cooling products (e.g., UPS systems , generators, air conditioning units , HVAC systems) and services (e.g., installation, maintenance, upgrades).
- Provide expert guidance to clients, offering tailored solutions based on their specific requirements and needs.
- Relationship Management:
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Respond to inquiries and provide after-sales support, ensuring a positive client experience from start to finish.
- Market Intelligence:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands in the power and cooling sector.
- Share insights with the internal team to help shape product offerings and sales strategies.
- Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management in CRM systems.
- Provide regular sales performance reports to the sales manager and other relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the power, cooling, HVAC, or energy solutions industry.
- Experience selling technical products and services is highly desirable.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong ability to build relationships and manage key accounts.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions to clients.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle client objections effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical certifications or training in power, cooling, HVAC, or related fields.
- Experience working with large corporations, data centers, or critical infrastructure.
- Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability practices within the power and cooling sector.
