Muhammad Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) welcomes international students to enroll in Master’s and PhD programs in Abu Dhabi on a fully funded scholarship. The scholarship covers tuition and provides stipends and benefits for international students pursuing full-time Master’s or PhD programs.

The MBZUAI scholarships aim to develop interdisciplinary and collaborative AI research and train students to become innovative leaders with knowledge of technical advancement.

The duration for the Master’s program is two years, while for PhD, the duration of the scholarship in Abu Dhabi is four years.

Eligibility Criteria for the MBZUAI Scholarship 2026 in UAE:

• Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in any STEM field such as computer engineering, computer science, physics, electrical engineering, mathematics, and other relevant science and engineering from a recognized university are eligible for this fully funded MBZUAI scholarship in Abu Dhabi.
• International students from all countries are encouraged to apply for the MBZUAI master’s scholarship.
• UAE nationality students are also eligible for the MBZUAI scholarship.
• Students must hold a bachelor’s degree from any accredited university.
• Furthermore, students must hold a minimum GPA of 3.20 (GPA requirement may vary by degree).
• Applicants must have an English language proficiency certificate.
• Applicants must submit recommendation letters, their statement of purpose and their English proficiency score.
• GRE score is optional but submitting one will be a plus point in the evaluation.
• Selected students will be invited for an online entry test and online information session with the admission team.

PhD Program:

• Applicants with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in any STEM field such as computer engineering, computer science, physics, electrical engineering, mathematics, and other relevant science and engineering from a recognized university are eligible for this MBZUAI PhD scholarship.
• Students from all countries can apply for the MBZUAI PhD scholarship 2026 in UAE.
• UAE nationality students are also eligible for the MBZUAI PhD scholarships.
• Applicants must have a master’s degree in science or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Students must hold a minimum GPA of 3.20 out of 4.00 from any reputable university or higher education institute (GPA requirement may vary by degree).
• Applicants must submit recommendation letters, their statement of purpose, a comprehensive research statement and their English proficiency score.
• Selected students will be invited for an online entry test and online admission interview.
