Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in program management, including Objectives and Key Results (OKR) development and the ability to move from granular detail to executive-level strategy.
- Experience with data modeling and analysis to translate issues into simple, actionable insights.
- Knowledge of sales technologies, digital media products, and the market landscape for software or internet industries.
- Ability to lead complex, globally-scaled operational and strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to influence executive-level audiences and cross-functional partners.
About the job
As a part of the Global Business and Operations (GBO) tools teams, you will be responsible for improving efficiency and effectiveness by building great tools for its users – Sales, Support and Advertisers. You will define the trusted AI tooling strategy that transforms ecosystems and enables growth as the GBO Tools team sits within the Global Business Applied AI (GBAI) team which is part of the larger Go-to-Market (GTM) team.
As a part of the Strategy and Operations (S&O) team within the GBO Tools organization, you will serve as a critical bridge between business strategy and technology strategy and execution. Your primary function is to ensure the evolving business needs of GBO, with respect to tools and technology is addressed effectively. You will lead and contribute to the initiatives in the technology domain and ensure the related processes run smoothly through strategic cross-orgnizational partnerships, planning and flawless execution.
As a Strategy and Operations Lead within the GBO Tools team, you will lead critical priorities and projects and serve as a partner to business executives and key leaders, driving an understanding of global sales and support teams through a lens of technical enablement and automation. You will develop solutions for ambiguous, and high-visibility business problems and will be at the forefront of transforming early-stage ideas into future-growth initiatives, helping to drive significant, multi-year business transformations currently underway within the GBAI ecosystem. You will be in a cross-functional role requiring deep collaboration with product management, engineering, and frontline sales and support teams to ensure our internal systems empower stakeholders and improve decision-making.The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google’s complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, structure, and drive end-to-end operational initiatives for GBO tools and leadership to align resources to business outcomes.
- Streamline processes, drive change management, and improve business cadence through partnerships and effective project management.
- Facilitate critical decision-making by gathering cross-functional context, cross-pollinating learnings, and driving business analysis with effective communication.
- Lead key business cadences, including annual planning, Objectives and Key Results (OKR) setting, and business reviews to align resources with organizational goals.
- Leverage internal and external data sources to create models, identify new opportunities, and deliver actionable recommendations for business optimization.
