Overview

Job Summary: We are seeking a Material Controller with experience in MEP projects to oversee the control and management of materials for our construction projects.

• Coordinate with project managers to determine material requirements for MEP projects.
• Develop and maintain material control procedures to ensure efficient inventory management.
• Monitor material orders, deliveries, and storage to maintain accurate records and prevent shortages.
• Inspect received materials for quality and quantity, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Update project teams on material status, availability, and potential issues to support project timelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Material Controller in MEP projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction materials, procurement processes, and inventory management.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact with suppliers, vendors, and project teams effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining material records and documentation.
