Job Description

To create animation, visual graphics, and visual material in order to meet the needs of the Meteorology department.

Job Purpose

To create animation, visual graphics, and visual material in order to meet the needs of the Meteorology department.

Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Creates visual content, using typography, images, colour, illustration, and other visual elements.
• Create engaging animations and motion graphics for websites, and presentations.
• Provide first-line assistance to meteorology department design and animation requirement.
• Design meteorology images, charts & animation to publish in regulatory document or meteorology portal.
• Study design briefs and determine the requirements for enhancement.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor in Fine Arts/ Communication Design/ Graphic Design/ Media Studies etc

Experience:

• 6 years of experience in the relevant area.

Special Technical Skills:

• Able to design meteorology related images, charts, Brochure, Flayer, Logos and animations.
• Able to animate the graphics and text using scripting with provided live data in json and csv file.
• Ability to think innovative ideas to create graphics and character for storyboard animation.
• Expertise in website and software design.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Ability to work in motion graphics & animation (Premiere Pro, Blender, Adobe Animate).
• Good understanding of current multimedia, web and print design standards.
