Apt Resources is thrilled to present the opportunity for an experienced Dairy Farm Manager to oversee the operational management of a prestigious dairy farm associated with a Royal Palace in Abu Dhabi UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of dairy farming practices and strong managerial skills with the ability to lead a dedicated team while maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare and production quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily farm operations ensuring efficient production of high quality milk and dairy products.
• Develop and implement operational plans and budgets to optimize productivity and profitability.
• Manage all aspects of dairy herd health including breeding, feeding, milking and veterinary care.
• Supervise and train farm staff in best practices and safety protocols for livestock management.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Implement and oversee record‑keeping systems related to herd management, milk production and feed usage.
• Conduct regular assessments of herd performance and adjust management practices as necessary.
• Manage procurement of feed, equipment and supplies while optimizing costs.
• Work closely with the Royal Palace management to ensure the dairy products meet the highest standards and satisfy specific requirements.
• Stay updated on innovations in dairy farming and implement preventive measures to improve operations.
• Develop strategies for sustainable farming practices to enhance environmental stewardship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agricultural Management, Dairy Science or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in dairy farm management with significant expertise in herd management and dairy operations.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• Extensive knowledge of dairy cattle breeding, nutrition, health management and milk production.
• Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on budget management and operational efficiency.
• Ability to analyze data for decision‑making and improve farm performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in farm management software and data reporting systems.
• Strong commitment to animal welfare and sustainability best practices.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends during peak operational seasons.
• Must be willing to relocate to UAE.
