The primary focus of a GenO Solution Engineer (Pre-sales) is to become an expert in a core set of Oracle products/solutions and industries and to present the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to partners, prospects and customers and internally to our sales force.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations.
• Present and articulate Oracle product’s strengths, relative to competitors.
• Participate in the design, validation, and presentation of Oracle software solutions.
• Highlight the strength of AI within Oracle Solutions.
• Provide presales technical/functional support to prospective clients and customers via the internet, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Work involves problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures.

What you’ll do

• Use analytical problem-solving skills to help customers understand their business problems.
• Learn about Oracle solutions and help customers see how they can use them to solve their business problems.
• Work directly with customers and our sales teams on key selling activities, such as:
• Performing proof of concepts with clients
• Building repeatable solution demonstrations
• Delivering hands-on workshops
• Creating new industry-focused solution innovations
• Presenting the solution and value/benefits with certain industries to customers

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or up to 4 years relevant experience.
• Technical aptitude: interest, understanding and curiosity in cloud technology concepts.
• Communication skills: ability to collaborate and present concepts clearly.
• Drive: a self-starter with a passion for learning new subjects and evangelizing with peers.
• Innovation: openness to new ideas and challenges.
