The Company
My client, a well know manufacturing MNC, have an urgent requirement for Compliance Manager to be based in their regional HQ in Dubai.The successful candidate will report directly to the regional FD and take ownership and responsibility for identify compliance issues and leading the implementation of improvements.
The Role
The compliance Manager will ensure the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of the internal control framework. Ensure efficient, effective and reliable Business Control and Accounting systems exist in the region. Ensure compliance with all Corporate, and BU Directives, Policies and Authority Mandates.
Provide advice to the Regional Management Executives on the Code of Conduct. Provide functional direction, leadership, training and support to business managers and functional managers in all control and compliance issues. Act as process owner for Risk Management. Acts as focal point for Internal Audit process.
The compliance manager also serves as adviser to the business on process improvements across the ME region.
The Person
– Essential: University degree in Accounting / Finance / Auditing or professional degree in Accounting / Auditing: CPA / CIA or equivalent
– Customer focus, good communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills, influencer, deadline oriented, problem solver, self starter, attention to detail, strong process orientation and quality focus.
– A Big 4 background as well in-house compliance / internal audit experience is essential
– Very good English language skills are essential
– Excellent MS Office (especially excel) experience
– A thorough, analytical and persistent approach, along with strong numeracy and a high degree of attention to detail
– Good ERP Knowledge
– 5 -7 years experience in MNC or broader nongovernmental In control / Compliance role, preferably in ME region
