Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate leads for outside event opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other sales techniques.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients and understand their needs and preferences.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including event planners and operations, to develop customized proposals and quotes for clients.
  • Present proposals and conduct site visits to showcase our capabilities and facilities for hosting outside events.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with clients, ensuring profitability while meeting their budgetary requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards revenue targets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights.

Operating Environment

  • High level of flexibility and adaptability to accommodate last-minute changes and client requests.
  • Emphasis on building and nurturing long-term client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals.
  • Occasional travel may be required to attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Close collaboration with cross-functional teams including design, marketing and production & delivery to ensure seamless event execution.

Formal Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.

Work Experience

  • 1-2 years’ experience in event planning and management

Skills and Knowledge

  • Proficient in verbal and written communication in English.
  • Strong Client Relationship Management Skills.
  • Ability to Collaborate Effectively with internal teams.
  • Established industry network is a plus.
  • Knowledge and ability to use CRM system.

Training

  • Professional Client Management related courses.
  • Certified Sales Professional is a plus.
  • Advanced computer skills.
