Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Transport Modeler / Traffic Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering transport and traffic studies across a range of urban development and infrastructure projects. Candidates must meet the following qualifications and experience criteria:

Job Responsibilities

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in transport modelling and traffic engineering, with at least 1 year of experience in Dubai .
  • Strong proficiency in strategic transport modeling platforms such as PTV VISUM , Citilabs Cube Voyager , EMME , or equivalent.
  • Understanding of transport model development, transportation planning principles, public transport systems, transit-oriented development (TOD), and relevant urban planning policies.
  • Ability to manage and deliver transport modelling and planning projects through all stages, including interpreting and presenting results to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Practical experience in transport planning, including site access evaluation, development planning, and citywide mobility assessments.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience in junction analysis and microsimulation using software such as SIDRA , SYNCHRO , HCM , VISSIM , etc., to support TIS submissions.
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive transport planning reports, covering:
    • Existing conditions analysis
    • Trip generation and distribution
    • Junction capacity assessment
    • Parking demand and supply analysis

Additional Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong client-facing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
